“What’s this on again? The moon landing or something?” Dana scratched her head.

“For the infinitely large numbered time, it’s a seminar on quantum mechanics and theoretical mass generation” Audrey said, scanning the auditorium. The lecture hall was unusually full for a non-mandatory event. A number of students would later admit they had been lured from their dorms with the promise of extra credit and free pastry.

“Right. Don’t know how I keep managing to forget that.” Dana’s eyes could almost be heard scraping in her sockets. Glancing at the crowd she dug an elbow into her friend’s side.

“It’s a real fish market in here, eh?”

Audrey frowned, “Don’t be gross. Help me look for seats.”

As she looked over the heads of her peers she noticed Dana was right; there was a rather high ratio of women to men. Incalculably high; she couldn’t see a single guy. Shrugging it off she spied a pair of seats together. Audrey shot off, Dana stumbling behind as she was pulled along.

“Aw, I don’t want to sit in the front, it’s harder to zone out when they’re looking right at you.” Dana complained, sinking into her seat.

“Sit. It’ll be good for you to sit through a lecture for once.” After being assured that her captive would not flee, Audrey squeezed into her own seat.

A few moments later the lights dimmed and the roar of the crowd died down. Having pouted the requisite amount of time Dana sat up and peered around. Most of the stage was covered by a large cloth. She could make out vague outlines of shapes but little else. Just as she was about to ask Audrey what exactly the lecture was on, a woman wobbled into view.

“H-hello? W-welcome Quendelt-Quendelton State ladies (am I saying that right?). I’m Amanda, I mean, Doctor Amanda Lacks and today I will be discussing the-whoa!” The doctor pitched forward, clearly not used to the heels she was wearing. Her arms flailed in the air before she straightened back up, face aglow.

“Excuse me.” She peeped, hurrying to the podium.

“Wait, doctor?” Dana leaned closer to her friend’s ear, “this is her, your big hero? She’s too...too adorable to be a doctor. How old is she?”

“She’s two months younger than me.” Audrey’s grin almost split her cheeks, “Graduated high school at 9, undergrad at 12, wrote her thesis on theoretical mass conservation at 16. And now she’s here.” Dana leaned away as Audrey melted lower in her chair, turning back to the pint-sized doctor. If it wasn’t for her stark white lab coat, it would have been easy to mistake her for a pledge eager to make a good first impression.

“…sorry if I didn’t explain that very well. But I brought it with me so I didn’t have to!” The doctor tip-toed from the podium to the edge of the cloth and tugged it back until she revealed a gleaming mass of metal. Perfectly circular, the intricacies of which were apparent even to Dana. The doctor beamed out at the audience for a minute before a large crack of electricity arced out from the machine. The front rows and the doctor jumped in unison, crimson once again spreading across her face.

“Oh god, I’m so sorry. That happens sometimes and I just haven’t been able to figure out why. But there’s a 97% chance that it won’t happen again! So I have just a couple slides about the reaction, if you want to look at the screen. You apply Planck’s constant and that creates…”

Momentary excitement aside, Dana once again lost interest. Sitting up in her chair she peered around the hall as discreetly as possible.

“Audrey. Audrey!” Dana grabbed and shook her arm with alarm.

“What?”

“Where are the refreshments?”

“…what?”

“Cake. I was told there would be cake.” Scorn is a hard emotion to convey correctly. Usually mistaken for contempt or disgust. But Audrey mastered it in that moment. Dana, oblivious to the flames swirling around her chair, turned back to the stage.

“...which generates energy. Now you might hear some noises again, but I promise it won’t shock you!” A laugh shot out of the doctor, her wide eyes prompting some nervous laughter. With the pull of a lever, the entire contraption began rising up, the metal gleaming as the bright lights of the stage reflected off it.

“This is so, so useful because it gives it much better coverage than if it was sitting flat.” A few rogue strands of hair had escaped from the doctor’s orderly bun, her gaze now meeting the audience rather than avoiding it. Despite her awe, Audrey could feel a pit forming in her stomach. Doctor Lacks’ public appearances were normally replayed on full-volume and could hardly be described as fervent.

Coverage? Coverage of what?

“As you can see here…” As the doctor turned showing her profile, Audrey found her own head tilting. Was she bigger than when she stepped on stage? Her two-sizes-too-large lab coat seemed to be stretched tight around her midsection.

“Now just one second!” The doctor scurried behind the curtain, unsteady ankles and all, before slowly emerging with a bright metallic briefcase.

“In…side this case…is what…makes it all…go!” The doctor dropped the case with a tremendous thud. From her point of view, Audrey could swear she could see the doctor’s hands shaking. Turning to Dana who was staring at the scene unfold with surprisingly rapt attention.

“Dana,” Audrey spoke directly into her ear, “was she always that big?”

“What? I don’t know, maybe. Shh.” Dana’s eyes never left the stage, transfixed by the doctor’s final act. Attempting to reassure herself, Audrey settled back in her seat. Tried to settle. Finding some discomfort Audrey looked down and gasped. Her stomach was bulging out of the bottom of her top while her hips were pressed up against the armrests.

“The power was only one component,” lacking a proper thought, Audrey looked up as the doctor fiddled with the clasps. “The collider another, but this,” she said opening the case, “this is like, the wheel. Or the automobile. Maybe even close to putting radio on the internet.” Getting to her feet, she cradled the object which gave off a visible pink glow. As she made her way around the machinery, Audrey noticed there was something different about her gait. Her steps were wider, somehow heavier like she was…

Pregnant

Audrey’s neck snapped as she looked down her row and then down the other side. Every girl had a noticeable bump, a practical sin curve of pregnancy. A number of them had discovered their growing abdomens, but no one had connected the dots. A gentle murmuring in the audience was increasing as the girls grew larger.

“Dana, we have to leave now.” Dana hadn’t even noticed there were dots to connect.

“Yeah yeah in a minute, I want to see this.” Almost shaking, Audrey took a deep breath. Resisting the urge to throttle Dana she took the higher road.

She reached out and pinched her on the nipple.

Squealing, Dana looked down before turning to accost her friend. She opened her mouth, frowned, and looked back down. Her breasts were straining at her blouse, each at least twice as large as before the program started. Audrey stood to get up but immediately fell back down. Her growing stomach was visibly bigger than it had been a minute before. She was forced to contort her body around her new center of gravity just to reach her feet. The grumbling audience had grown louder as some were finally making the connection. As Audrey heaved herself upright she glanced at the stage.

The doctor was massive. Her nude stomach had burst through her lab coat, leaving a trail of buttons in her wake. She teetered forward, almost pivoting around her belly, her skin-tight shirt bouncing in sync.

“Now I’m really sorry that I had to lie to you, really I am. But if you understood how revolutionary this technology is...” She withdrew a small remote from her slack pocket and after a small hesitation, pressed a button, “then you’d know that I have to test it.”

Audrey recoiled while Dana balled into her seat. Frantic yelps came from all around as girls struggled out of their seats. Bedlam reigned as the audience swelled in their seats. Girls scrambled to get around their rounding neighbors. A few moments passed as the panic died down. Audrey slowly let down her arms finding the doctor still triumphantly holding her arm in the air.

“Oh, uh, sorry, wrong button.” As soon as the words left her mouth a dull hum could be heard. A pink light appeared in the negative space in the middle of the machine. It grew brighter as the hum grew louder until Audrey was forced to shield her eyes. The humming reached a fever pitch until it drowned out everything including the stampede to leave the auditorium.

Audrey caught herself as weight immediately piled on her front. She overcompensated and awkwardly fell to her rear on the cold linoleum, her behind flattening out more than she expected. In a moment the lower curve of her pale belly was kissing the floor. Her breasts burst onto her belly, ripping through her shirt and rising closer to her chin.

Audrey blindly grabbed for her armrests trying to push herself to her feet but gave up after her arms proved woefully weak. Letting her head fall back, she found a rather warm and soft pillow. Craning her neck caught an eyeful of Dana’s own stomach pushing out past her seat. Dana managed a wave.

To her credit, the good doctor seemed to be enjoying her own medicine. Although she had disappeared behind her curves some time ago, a squeal of excitement could still be heard with every new advance of her belly. Just as Audrey thought she would be crushed under her own weight, the machine sputtered. The hum skipped, the lights along with it. Another few inches and the lights died completely, the hum fading into the background.

“Well, I’m glad we sat up front.”

“Shut up Dana.”

“Really made me pay closer attention.”

“Shut UP Dana.”

“Good thing we weren’t sitting in the back, we might’ve missed something.”

“Dana I swear I’m going to strangle you.” But they both knew it was an empty threat. Those seated in the back were relatively lucky, some were said to have ended up in only the single-digits. The good news became less and less good as you went further forward.

I’m sure you can order clothes in your size!

Ever think of starting your own youth sports team?

I’ve heard that Amber from Stamford already painted her sling to match her outfit, maybe she could help?

As the biggest, the girls received no such sweet-talk. The girls were only offered nervous smiles and pats of reassurances from the rescue workers. Audrey quickly found out how good belly rubs felt while Dana was more than happy to encourage it. Female workers had been banned from the area after many discovered their waists swelling larger the closer they were to the building.

Audrey shivered. It was cold outside and her sleeves and collar were the only clothing to survive. A kindly volunteer had given her a blanket which she had wrapped around her bloated chest. But there was nothing to even begin to cover the vast acreage of her belly. Even the largest girls trundled their bellies past hers with open mouths. It was a hassle, but Audrey could glare at them if she sat up perfectly straight and mushed her chest down a bit. Dana was more than happy to tease the pregnant co-eds about their own ballooning bodies in her stead, but Audrey felt a bit hypocritical. She herself had only been able to tear her eyes away from the vast monolith she called a stomach some hours earlier. She still couldn’t stop staring at Dana.

Dana was luckier. Or unluckier, depending on who asked. Her belly was merely humongous rather than titanic. However there were no blankets large enough to cover her chest; putting an eye out was a very real possibility if someone didn’t look where they were going. Combined, they rivaled her belly in size proudly pushing upwards and out. Some workers had tried to piece together some sort of covering for her benefit, but Dana had a rather laissez-faire attitude towards her nudity. Her lower body had fared similarly. While there was technically room on the bench, it was hard to imagine anyone small enough to fit in the excess space.

“Come on, looks like they might be able to get us in now.” The emergency medical tents that had been set up were clearly designed for much smaller emergencies. And victims. The smaller girls were examined first because of their incredibly irritating ability to fit more than three to a tent.

Audrey heaved herself to her feet. She had never understood the phrase “put your back into it” until now. She had moved past waddling; every step was more of a balancing act to keep from tipping onto her belly. It didn’t help that a good third of her field of vision was now pink. Dana, on the other hand, nearly strolled. She rapidly outpaced Audrey, gigantic hips and butt acting as a ballast for her torso. But her extreme curves did have a drawback. She was too big to jiggle or even bounce; instead Dana quaked. Each step produced a shockwave that rippled across her curves before crashing into the next. With her head held high she ignored the flurry of jiggling until her breast bounced upward, knocking into her jaw. She slowed allowing Audrey to catch up.

“Thanks for waiting.” Audrey panted.

“No-no problem.” Dana stuttered, seeing stars.

“Alright, pull!” A collective grunt of effort followed. The last of the Quendelton girls had escaped the clutches of the Social Science auditorium hours before. Those hours had been spent carefully knocking a hole big enough for its last occupant. A pink colored boulder stood in contrast the dull color of the building, almost shining in the dim light. Inch after inch the good doctor emerged from her self-made prison. As big as Audrey was, she was merely a fraction of Doctor Lacks’ size. Her belly easily eclipsed her body, breasts even bigger than Dana’s piled on top. A few feet later she emerged triumphantly, still wrapped in her ruined lab coat. A smile plastered on her face she waved to the throng of scowling co-eds.

“Thanks for coming! See you all next time!”

It's been a while. Not the biggest fan of this, despite the ridiculous amount of time I put into it. Dislike the doctor and not the biggest fan of the ending. If you could tell me what you dis/liked about it I would appreciate it.

It reminded me of a story I still can't find. I would be grateful if someone helps. A history lecture at a college or university, in which both the teacher and the students gradually move forward during pregnancy, and also, depending on the distance, they have either quadruplets or only one child.
